Now in its third generation, STERMAN develops high-precision, efficient, and intelligent solutions for demanding industrial manufacturing challenges. Our systems are deployed where standard solutions reach their limits—either because required tolerances cannot be met or because specialized workpiece geometries and machining processes demand tailored engineering.
As a family-owned technology company based in the Black Forest, we engineer our solutions strictly around the workpiece and the specific manufacturing task—down to the single micrometer. Yet custom never means starting from scratch: an established portfolio of proven technologies and modular system components perfectly pairs bespoke engineering with cost-effective production.
We invest more than 10 percent of our revenue in research and development; 21 patents and proprietary rights underscore our technological edge. Concept design, development, and manufacturing take place entirely at our site in St. Georgen in the Black Forest.
